State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 4-10-5-3
PALTINIAN was nabbed only late at second run for the stable and can again run boldly. LISA LASS was good at her first run for the Lake stable and her second up form is good. POSITIVO is a two time winner at the mile and was good third up last prep. FOREST JIM was good back on the grass at Moe and he won his maiden here. NEWCOMBE is still stuck on the one win but is racing well. BOY FROM TENNESSEE can improve down in class - SOLAR MIST also enjoys a drop in grade. DETERMINATO was too keen up to this level last time; worthy of another chance.
