State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).

The fresh form of SWEATER GIRL is better than it looks on paper; she doesn't always have the best of luck but is capable of figuring in the finish here. BAKERSBEND was good after getting a bit too far back in a similar contest at Mildura. SAVETHEBESTTILLAST has not won since early last year but is going well. FLYING MEAN and HIDDEN WITNESS are both stuck on the one win but can be competitive here. POPTHEBUBBLY has been thereabouts of late. SMASH BLUE gets back and needs luck but may now be looking for this trip.
