Handy race but difficult to sort out given around half are returning. Many of the main players are unknown on heavy tracks also. COL KLINK gave a clue as to just how good he is in that Vobis Gold Carat at Cranbourne late last year. That race was full of Saturday metro class horses. He's jumped out well on a soft 7. WORKS DIRTY has a race fitness edge and he's proven on a heavy track. WRITTEN GLOW had plenty of excuses for her Caulfield last. She's looked good at the jumps outs since. GINA'S A STAR is showing a liking for heavy ground this time in. She was solid here/1100m 7 weeks ago. GOLDEN PULSE has jumped out twice on heavy ground and trialled once on soft to prepare. His latest over 800m was significantly better than the one prior over 1000m. NAUGHTY SORT is a chance on her 2nd to subsequent Flemington winner Barari May 8. PACIFIC GLAMOUR ran well against the track pattern at Moe. Doubt that ends the list of chances.
