T O MARCONI (2) finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt when fresh from a spell as $2.6 favourite. Steps up in distance today. Sure to run well. DADDY'S TRIP (8) ran above expectations and got up for third when unwanted in betting at his latest appearance at Hanshin Dirt over 1800m. Settles back early but winds up late. One to consider. SIGMUND (5) finished seventh when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt, beaten 4 lengths. This looks a good race for him and he is one of the key runners.
