LAVANDA (11) is the horse to beat after resuming with a determined G3 Chukyo Kinen win where she beat Mini Transat by just under a length and confirmed her Group-level quality. Her record at this distance is solid, so the slight rise in trip is no issue and if she gets some luck from the barrier, then she'll be hard to hold out again. SEKITOBA EAST (10) is the obvious danger after a dominant G3 Fuchu Himba Stakes win at this track, scoring by three lengths from Win Twilight, and her two wins from three starts at this track and distance give her a very firm platform. QUEEN'S WALK (3) brings deep class, having placed in the G1 Victoria Mile at this venue and the G2 Kinko Sho at Chukyo, and she is reliable around 1800m and makes plenty of appeal from a good barrier. JOCELYN (15) resumes from a G1 eighth but had won the G3 Kokura Himba Stakes before that. Can bounce back to form with Lemaire reuniting with the filly.
