MEISHO TAMUSHIBA (6) has the cleanest recent winning form after scoring at Chukyo Dirt first-up, beating Cosmo Storm by just over a length and showing a sharper finish than she had at Kyoto Dirt before the break. She is proven at 1400m and looks well placed to build on that return. SEGUIR EL VIENTO (8) has to put aside a poor final run before the spell, but her overall profile is strong: two wins and three placings from five starts at this track and distance, plus a narrow second two runs back when favourite. KALPA (7) is fully race fit and was beaten only a nose at Hanshin Dirt, with Christophe Lemaire a key booking and a solid record at the distance. YAMANIN ASTRON (15) resumes with reliable 1400m credentials and recent form around Snappy Dresser and Hawaiian Time that reads well enough to make him a serious winning hope despite seeing this venue for the first time.
