GARAVOGUE (9) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1600m at Hanshin when resuming after a break. Easier assignment this time. Fitter and looks an excellent chance in this field. DREAM CORE (1) is a promising filly yet to miss the frame after three starts, including two wins. Last appeared when she got the prize over 1600m at this track on November 30. Goes up a notch this time but is the big threat to the top selection. MARGA (3) is a progressive three-year-old filly who hasn't raced since finishing third over 1400m at Chukyo on December 13 which was the only run of that prep. Has scored first-up from a spell before. One of the contenders with Take to steer. MORETON ISLAND (4) is back from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, taking out a 1600m contest at this track by 1.5 lengths. Must be respected.
