GAMBARU FUTOSHI (7) produced a reasonable effort when third last start here, beaten a neck. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including three wins. Takanori Nagai is a key engagement. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. MEPHISTO (1) ran well below his best last time. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Will give backers a great sight. KIRAKIRARI (4) was below her best last time, finishing sixth here. Has her share of talent and can do a lot better.
