AURORA LUMIERE (2) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 2.75 lengths away in third over 1400m at this track. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. GRAY RULE (9) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. TROIS VALLEES (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when fifth over 1400m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. MEINER THRACIA (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1700m at this track, beaten just 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
