PACKING FIGHTER (1) has been racing in stronger company recently and gets the drop back in grade today which should suit him. He's trialled well since that effort and looks ready to bounce back to his best. Needs a touch of luck from the draw, but looks well placed in this event. STAR BROSE (10) was a little disappointing last time out after some strong performances prior. He comes back to 1800m today, but returns to SHA TIN where he was strong two starts back. Likely to end up back in the run, but he can storm home late in the race to feature in the finish. ABSOLUTE HONOUR (5) missed narrowly two back before scoring over the mile as the $2.30 favourite last time out. He's had a quiet trial sicne and steps out to 1800m now. Building nicely and rates highly with Purton remaining on board. KINGLY DEMEANOR (12) is better than he showed last time out when feeling the pinch late. Can dictate from the front and be tough to run down.
