CALIFORNIA STAR (7) flew home from the back of the pack to finish 1L off the winner last time out. He maps to sit closer this time around from a better draw and Zac Purton remains in the saddle. He's turned in a sound trial since that last effort and he can go a couple better. SIGHT DREAMER (3) has gone to another level since his tactics have changed, leading and winning his last two. He should find the front from an inside draw yet again for Atzeni and while he does rise in weight, there's no reason why he can't bring up the hat-trick. NIGHT PUROSANGUE (11) missed by 1L over this track and trip last time out and this looks to shape similarly to his latest effort when behind Sight Dreamer. He meets that runner better at the weights here and with a favourable set up on offer here, he's sure to go close. FOREMOST TEDDY (14) is better than we saw last time out and can improve coming back to this trip.
