He will carry no weight on his back with the claim of Yuen on board and with his racing pattern, that makes him a very attractive commodity. Can go one better this time. FIREFOOT (10) jumped the favourite in an easier race last time out and just missed when closing from midfield, beaten 0.3L. He carries 8.5kg less today for the rise in trip and the favourable draw plays right into his hands. Can stalk the speed and get over the top late. HAPPY UNIVERSE (1) got the job done in a photo finish most recently when sitting close to the speed. He rates highly on the back of that effort and that was his first attempt at this track and trip. Needs some luck from the wide draw, but can make a statement if the breaks come. THE LION KING (7) had been back to the trials since a disappointing effort here last time out. Can bounce back to his best.
