SMART CITY (2) didn't see out the extra journey last start at Happy Valley and comes right back in trip now. He's only had one try on the All Weather, but the drop in class and the booking of Purton are both big ticks. Can take up the running and prove hard to run down. MEEPMEEP (9) draws a better barrier today with Bowman remaining in the saddle after closing strongly over 1800m here last time out. May be able to take closer order this time and he rates highly on his recent form. Narrowly beaten at this track and trip two back and he makes plenty of appeal. HAILTOTHEVICTORS (1) won two back beating Meepmeep before a 0.8L defeat when coming from a long way back over 1800m. Back to the scene of the crime now and he'll be stalking the speed. Watch for him late in the race. GO GO GO (11) won impressively from the front two back before a disappointing effort most recently. Nice trial since that run though and he can bounce back in a big way.
