ACE (12) flew home to score impressively over this course and distance last time out in easier company. He jumped the $3.40 fav there and the form out of the race has been strong. Likely to get back again but with 4.5kg less on his back, he can repeat the dose. NYX GLUCK (4) stuck on well late in the race here last time out, finishing 2.8L off the winner. He gets the winkers on for the firs time today and Brown takes the ride. Can be in the finish yet again. ROBOT STAR (3) was no match for the winner last start, but he was best of the rest when coming from behind. This shapes similarly and his record at this track and trip is very strong. Can go one better without surprising. CALIFORNIA BAY (13) was eased out of the race last start when finding trouble in the straight. A much better effort is anticipated.
