SALON S (11) looks a very impressive gelding, winning again by 1L at this track and trip as a $1.20 favourite in easier company. This is tougher, but he drops 9kg and he draws the inside. Should be up front from the outset and he can continue his run through the grades. WINNING OVATION (5) just missed out in a photo finish last start to end the winning streak. Now Purton hops on board from a good draw and he maps to stalk Salon S. Will be hard to fend off when the whips are cracking. MIGHTY MASTS (12) flew home to bolt in over this track and trip, scoring by 3.3L in a dominant victory. Teetan rides now, but he draws better and should sit a touch closer in the run. Can repeat the dose without surprising. EMBLAZON (8) never featured in the Derby but his form at this track and trip prior was superb. He was a winner in this grade prior to the Derby and he carries less weight here. Watch for him to bounce back.
