PACKING PHOENIX (3) won impressively first-up and looked like a nice horse on the rise, though he disappointed last time out when the $1.7 favourite. He's been back to the trials since and Purton remains in the saddle. The tongue tie goes on now and he can bounce back to winning ways from a good draw. MAJESTIC VALOUR (1) settled handy last start before getting the job done over this track and trip last time out, winning by 1.8L. Moore replaces Purton in the irons and he has enough early speed to get across from the draw. Looks to have plenty of upside and can get the job done again. VOYAGE BOSS (4) has won a trial since his latest performance where he didn't have much luck, settling wide and without cover. He looks well suited here from a much better barrier and he can make his presence felt. JUBILANT STAR (6) flew home last time out and won't be far away.
