KOL (13) had trialled well going into the campaign and was only 1.8L off the winner on resumption. Purton now takes the ride which is a good push for his chances. Can sit handy from the outset and put his best foot forward. COPARTNER A I (3) has only raced once, yet that debut third at this venue over 1200m gives him the right exposed line. Ho hops on board now and if he can run to that level here, he'll be hard to fend off. SAME TO YOU (14) settled midfield and was solid at Happy Valley when only 1.5L off the winner. Hasn't won for a while but the fresh effort was a positive sign and he won't be far away. TEN LOVES (1) has recent form to turn around, but his time profile and past 1200m win keep him in the winning mix if he sharpens second-up.
