HAPPY BRETHREN (6) has shown enough at the trials to suggest he can run a bold race on debut. Vincent Ho's been in the saddle for his last three trials, with his two most recent outings being his most impressive. Drawn nicely here and a forward showing is expected on debut. GIANT BALLON (5) is racing in good order recently and comes back to SHA TIN today. It's his first try at this track and trip and he draws a good gate for Purton who sticks from his latest effort. Things look to shape much nicer for him this time around and he can make his presence felt. THOUSAND SPIRIT (2) drops back in trip today after fading late over 1400m here last time out. Has enough early speed to offset the wide alley and he rates highly on what he's done recently. Can put his best foot forward. EMBRACE ABERDEEN (1) has trialled well since his latest effort over 1400m here and he can feature in the finish.
