PIENA ORCA (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when eighth in a 1700m contest at this track three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ACHIEVER (5) showed good early speed last start over today's journey at Hakodate Dirt before finishing second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. LORD ARDITO (3) settled well back when resuming last time then wound up strongly in the straight to finish third over today's journey at this track. Will be running on late again. RED FREUDE (6) recorded his first win last start over 1700m at Hakodate Dirt, getting home by one length. Re-unites with Nana Kawaharada who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
