ONE CALL AWAY (11) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Chukyo but couldn't back it up last start when eighth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1400m at Hanshin after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. SANTA ANITA (10) resumes. Finished the last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1400m at Chukyo five months ago. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Genuine contender. PIERCED EARS (5) turned in a solid run last time, boxing on to finish third at Fukushima. Suited by today's longer journey and figure again.
