ASCOT VERT (12) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt when second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Will benefit from that experience so she should be in the finish. HOLD THE DAY (13) finished third last time over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt when resuming from a spell, beaten 6 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
