LE CORSAIRE (3) made it two wins on the bounce last time out when he scored by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Mizusawa. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. HIROSHIKUN (12) scored an impressive win by 4 lengths when resuming from a spell last time out over 1600m at Mizusawa. Has a strong record at the trip and looks a big threat to the top selection. KANA ALWAYS (2) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 5 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves his chance. DOLLARS PRICELESS (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 2.5 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners.
