MEISHO GEKIHA (4) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1800m at this track five-and-a-half months ago. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and could prove tough to beat. BLUE COSMOS (9) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Nagoya but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1500m there. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is a leading contender. SILVER MIRAGE (2) finished second over 1800m at this track at her most recent appearance on November 12. Sure to make her presence felt. ESCARCHA (7) combination of results at Mizusawa since resuming. Good effort first up at but didn't do much last start when in the market. Rough each-way hope.
