EVENT HORIZON (9) impressed when successful on debut over 2000m at Chukyo six weeks ago. Stalked the leading pair that day then let down impressively. Promising type who can measure up again. DARK MARS (8) is a promising colt yet to miss the frame in two starts, including a win. Has not been produced since he finished third over 2000m at this track on November 16. The obvious danger. RADIANT STAR (2) is a promising galloper who got the prize at his only run last prep 11 weeks ago over 1800m at Tokyo. Should park just off the speed and seems sure to be competitive. SHONAN HAYANAMI (7) went forward and proved too strong on debut last start, scoring with 2 lengths to spare over 2000m at Hanshin. Not to be discounted.
