MEISHO YOZORA (6) failed to live up to market expectations last start when out of the placings over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 10 lengths. That run followed an eight-week break so he strips fitter and can improve. AIM FOR ACE (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on December 28 when beaten 2 lengths into sixth at Hanshin over 1600m. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player.
