WUNDERBAR (2) sets the standard after resuming with a strong second at Nakayama Dirt, beaten just over a length as a well-supported favourite, and her prior seven-length win at Fukushima Dirt gives the profile genuine substance. She also has a recent edge over LOISTAA (13), who was fourth in that same Nakayama Dirt race and now gets to the third run of the campaign with a two-from-four record around 1800m. AIR NIGELLA (12) resumes off a narrow Sapporo Dirt second, where she was beaten a neck as favourite, and her record with Kohei Matsuyama keeps her right in the winning discussion. VENT AGREABLE (3) was only fair before the break, but her two wins and three placings from six starts at this track and distance give her a clear platform to improve fresh.
