PEISHA SIS (4) is the horse to beat after a sound fourth at Hanshin, beaten just under three lengths, and she is already a winner at this track and at around 1600m. Her overall profile is steadier than most of these and she comes in race fit. DARK MARS (3) resumes with a very reliable record, having placed in five of six starts overall and gone within a nose in 3yo Allow grade at this venue two runs back. MAGEVA SPEED (11) has to rebound from a plain first-up 12th, but his one win and three placings from five starts at this distance keep him right in the race. SATONO SCEPTER (5) resumes from a long break after tackling the G3 Churchill Downs (Arlington) Cup and has already won at around 1600m, so his best form gives him a genuine winning chance.
