T O LYMAN (1) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 1800m. Goes well here and is close to a win. Further improvement is anticipated. SAIMON CHEVALIER (5) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish third. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will prove tough to beat. MEISHO OKO (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1800m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KEVALA (3) was below his best last time, finishing 13th and beaten 11 lengths over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
