G T ESPI (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1200m at Fukushima. Trip suits and has placed 3/3 second-up. Sure to run well. TAMAMO BROWN TIE (12) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1200m at Fukushima, finishing second and beaten a nose after being in contention on the corner. Placed three of last four. Well placed to take this out. LEONARD STAR (11) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1200m at Fukushima after being in contention on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. BLUE LACE (2) finished 17th over 1200m at Chukyo at her most recent appearance on December 13. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
