BIG HERO (16) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 1600m at Chukyo. Has placed all six runs so far and won't get a better chance to get off the mark. Will be tough to stop again. BRANCH OUT (10) is a seven-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth after being in contention on the bend at his latest appearance over 1600m at this track. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. A SHIN BEACON (4) is back after a break of nine weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 1600m at Hanshin. One of the leading chances. PERSIAN GRAY (1) resumes from a spell of ten weeks. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 1800m at Hanshin. Can kick off with a bold showing.
