ASK I'LL BE THERE (4) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 2.75 lengths. Ryusei Sakai gets the best out of this five-year-old entire. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. KALPA (5) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when fifth over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Definite top-three chance.
