WELCOME SONG (1) was well in the market on debut last time out and did a good job but found one better over 1200m at this track. Will derive great benefit from that experience and is a major player. BISCUIT ASSORT (14) finished fourth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1200m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. JASPER MERCHE (5) led to the turn over 1400m at Kyoto last time out but faded badly. Has the speed to be prominent again and should be involved in the finish. TANA V HACHI TURBO (8) is a five-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing second at Kasamatsu over 1400m last time out after being in the firing line on the bend. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration.
