Yutaka Take who has built a nice affinity with the entire retains the mount. Should be in the finish. LORD FOUR ACES (16) did well to score by 3 lengths first-up last start over 1200m at Listed level at Nakayama. Has never been out of the placings second-up and is expected to feature in the finish. KARPUZ PELUS (4) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing fifth last start over 1200m at Listed level at Nakayama eight weeks ago. Drawn to stalk the leaders. One of the main contenders. BIG CAESAR (9) resumes. Was outclassed at his only run last prep on March 30, finishing ninth and beaten 6 lengths over 1200m in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
