DEL AVAR (7) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start when victorious over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Hard not to be impressed with that transition and seems sure to be prominent again. PENNA VELOCE (3) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TAGANO MAKASIH YA (11) last appeared when he won over 1900m at this track on October 25. Has a terrific record here with two wins and one placing from three starts. Makes plenty of appeal. MOKKU MOKKU (15) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success over 1800m at this track seven weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Likely to be in the finish again.
