SHONAN BANRAI (8) displayed plenty of early toe over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt when resuming last time and dug deep to score by 5 lengths. Should be on-pace despite the tricky draw. Has upside and expected to go close. SUNRISE KEVIN (10) returns from a spell of nine weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 1700m at this track. Will be hard to stop. KEIAI ALTAIR (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Nakayama Dirt but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 6 lengths over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HOSHO LUX (6) did a great job to score by a neck over today's course and distance when resuming from a break last start. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is right in contention.
