Nicely placed in this modest line-up to go one better. PAS DE ZEPHYR (5) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth after being in contention on the bend. Better than most of these and looms as the logical threat. KOYU NEROGA (6) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1000m at this track. Strips fitter and can finish a bit closer. WIDE ALBA (14) finished 9 lengths away in 12th after being prominent at the turn at his last appearance over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt on January 4. One for the exotics.
