MEINER JUGEND (16) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1200m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Not a huge amount of depth to this so he is a big chance to go one better. WATER DELIGHT (4) showed ability at his only start back on October 19 when second over 1400m at Niigata. Likely improver this prep and another bold showing is on the cards. ITOSHISA (3) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt, beaten 2.25 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. CHANT D'EGLISE (17) was well fancied on the back of a couple of minor placings but could only manage 13th last start over 1400m at Hanshin. Worth noting Daito Ozawa is the change of rider. Worth another chance.
