Strong performer at this stage of the prep with three wins and one minor placings from six attempts. Masayoshi Aoyagi has been the pilot at his last five wins. Bold showing expected. MEISHO MEIBOKU (5) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. ROCKET BODY (1) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. INTARSIA (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 5 lengths into ninth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
