Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. VERTEX (7) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Tatsuya Nakajima scored on him last time and retains the ride. Meets some better types this time but another win is not out of the question. MARINE DHUN DHUN (3) kicked off this campaign with a win then was less impressive last time out when fourth over 1700m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
