IN THE SKY (10) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 4 lengths over 1400m at Sonoda. Has a wide gate to overcome but he should be in the finish. GRAND FOREST (8) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1400m at Sonoda and proved too strong, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Has a solid second-up record and another big run will not surprise. ULTIMO (6) finished third when resuming two runs back at Sonoda then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1.75 lengths as favourite over 1400m at Sonoda. Sota Hijikata scored on her last time and retains the ride. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. COEUR ET CASSIS (7) was narrowly beaten into second when second up last start at Sonoda over 1400m. Wataru Hirose who has two wins when partnering stays on. Not to be discounted.
