MEISHO TEN TEN (1) is yet to break through in 12 runs but has been thereabouts. Placed two back then was 1.75 lengths away in fourth over 1400m at Sonoda last time. Has a strong finish. Best figures stack up and looks well placed to get off the mark. SCHWARZ STAR (4) wound up strongly only to just miss last start over 1400m at Sonoda. Hard to beat in this suitable race. AMERICAN TARO (8) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on October 1, finishing fourth and beaten 11 lengths over 1400m at Sonoda. Can make his presence felt while fresh. SAKURA GRACIEUX (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 1230m at Sonoda. Sure to be in the mix.
