MAX QUE (2) was far too good as an odds-on pop last time out, landing midfield and getting the job done very easily. Up in weight now, but his recent trial was solid for Purton who remains in the saddle. Gone to another level since rising to this trip and he can repeat the dose. FLYING FORTRESS (1) disappointed last time out when back to 1400m, though his two runs over this course and distance prior to that were very good. Rates highly on the back of those performances and this looks to set up nicely for him. Can bounce back to his best. MISTER DAPPER (5) disappointed last time out over 1800m and drops back in trip today off a short freshen. His run three back over the mile was solid and the blinkers go back on today. Can make his presence felt. OUTGATE (9) has the speed to cross over from a wide draw and he took plenty of beating last time out. That form has worked out well since and he can feature in the finish.
