SPICY SPANGLE (2) drops back in grade today following a 5.5L defeat at Sha Tin most recently. He's trialled well since his latest effort and Leung remains with the gelding. Draws nicely to find the front and he'll be hard to run down from the front. ISLAND BREEZES (1) has flown home his past couple after getting well back in the run, missing in a photo finish most recently. His latest trial since that run was just fair, but he's knocking on the door of a maiden win and he's sure to be flying late once again. HAPPY BOYS (3) got a long way back last start over 1200m and closed off strongly when beaten 1.8L. Back to this track and trip is a query, but he rates highly on his recent form and is not to be discounted. CONCORDE STAR (5) just missed over 1200m last start and comes back to 1000m today. He's improved this time in work and can make his presence felt once again.
