APPAREIL (9) showed good early dash at the first run after a spell last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 2.25 lengths away in third over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Sure to go well. JUNE AGAIN (3) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Should be prominent from the outset. Will play a major role. HAKKOICHIU (4) finished second last time over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.3 lengths. Ready to go one better. A SHIN MARS (12) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
