HEART NOTE (7) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten one length over 1800m at this track. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. SHALLOW CHAMP (3) looked good at his only appearance 11 weeks ago over 1800m at Kokura, finishing third and beaten 3.5 lengths. Likely improver and is among the leading chances. PRIMERA ESTRELLA (6) has been freshened up since racing on the speed and fading to finish seventh over 1600m at Chukyo on August 8. Better than last start and can feature. SATONO VORTEX (5) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when sixth at Chukyo over 1600m, beaten 3.5 lengths. Not to be discounted.
