HAGURE JOE (8) is back at the races for the first time since May 3. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1400m at this track. Placed 2/3 fresh and goes well course and distance. Top chance. A SHIN TEASER (12) was well supported when resuming last start but missed the placings in fourth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Among the winning hopes. A SHIN MARS (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when tenth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 7 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. ARLINGTON ROW (10) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing fourth over 1200m at Chukyo. Should be poised just off the lead. Solid claims on best form.
