COELI VENTO (3) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time when he was prominent throughout over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Overdue for another win and drawn to go close. BAD RAGAZ (8) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt six months ago and has not raced since. Likely improver who should run well again. KOKOROZUYOSA (2) got off the mark with an impressive maiden win last time out over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. S Hamanaka was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. GAURA DISCO (10) resumed over 1900m in the G3 Unicorn Stakes at Kyoto Dirt where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter and will find this much easier. Sure to run well.
