TERRA MERITA (2) showed good early speed last start over today's journey at Chukyo before finishing second, beaten a neck. Strong record course and distance and paced 2/3 when third-up. Rates highly. Big chance. IN VOGUE (8) is back after a break of nine weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at this track. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Comes here with definite claims. COSMO ANTHOLOGY (15) missed the placings first up recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 1800m at Fukushima. Races well when second-up. Can go on with it. SANTANKA (9) returns after a spell of three months. Looking to emulate his win at Kyoto when returning from a spell last prep. Has a solid first-up record of two wins and two placings from five runs. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
