AURUM ARES (5) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 2000m at Kyoto. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note in a race without a great depth of quality. MATENRO ORIGIN (12) was a winner last time over 2000m at this track and re-unites with K Ikezoe who steered on that occasion. Gets some weight relief this time so another bold showing is expected. MEISHO TENKU (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 2000m contest at this track three weeks ago after being in contention on the corner. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. WONDERFUL DAYS (1) hit the frame two starts ago at Kyoto but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 2200m at Hanshin. Looks well placed to bounce back.
