MEISHO FUSO (3) won his maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at his last two runs, most recently when third over 1500m at Nagoya. Has a strong record at this distance with a win and five minor placings from six starts and should prove tough to beat. JESCO (7) is back from a spell of 17 months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1600m at Ohi. Now under the care of new trainer Takahiro Inamasu. Capable of playing a major role. MY EIGER (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fourth over 2000m at Urawa five weeks ago. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. VASCULARITY (10) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at Kasamatsu at the previous outing. One of the main hopes on best form.
